000: Welcome to The New 30 Podcast!

My name is Karen Barrett, the host of The New 30 Podcast.  In this introduction to the show, I introduce myself and talk about what listeners can expect from the show each week.  Every Tuesday, I'll explore the changing face of today's 50-something woman with fun conversation and interviews that will inspire, inform, and connect women with up-and-coming experts in the fields of happiness, health, wellness, business, success, and all things relevant to busy women in their prime. So whether you're 45 or 75, be sure to join me for unfiltered discussion and the sharing of tips, tools, ideas, inspiration and laughter as I re-define what it means to be the New 30 in today’s world. Because 50 is not what it used to be!

I'd love it if you'd subscribe, rate, and review the show in Itunes, and leave a comment below to let me know who you are and your ideas for topics you'd like to hear discussed on the show.  Thanks so much for listening!

I believe in a balanced life and that includes work, exercise, eating healthy and FUN (which means if you want to have that bite or two or three of ice cream, do it! Once in a while is not going to kill you. I am an award winning book author, bilingual and bicultural parenting expert.
